Anyone using Dienogest (visanne)

Hi everyone. I’m new here😊

I want to ask if anyone has used visanne as endo treatment. If so, How long have you used it for and was it benefiacial? It would be great to have any feedback. I just started it 1 week ago. The dr told me it might need a couple of months to start working. I’m still spotting from the day I started it and today I started bleeding🥺

Hey, do you mind me asking where your hospital is? I am trying to get my consultant to prescribe dienogest but no luck yet... I hope it helps you!

Hello. I live in Dubai. I’ve been on visanne 2 mg since April 29th. I feel much better now thank God! I still get cramps and back pain sometimes (not daily) that I cam tolerate but it’s much less than before. Dr will do some blood tests and ultra sound again end of May to see if he’ll keep me on it or do a lap. Why doesn’t your dr want you to take it?

Apparently the NHS think it is expensive... Are you getting much bleeding with it?
