Hi, im really after some advice i am in so much pain and really dont know what to do, ive got my gyne app on the 18th of may and i have suspected diagrammatic endometriosis, my shoulder pain has been crippling and really scary and nothing seems to ease it, i am on a lot of pain relief to help but they only thing it does it space me out and makes it so hard to work and be a mum, My consultant didnt take me seriously last time i saw her and told me to come back when i was 40 and then she would consider a operation, so im petrified of seeing her again and she was so dismissive! Im panicking and wanting to go a and e but too scared that they will fob me off and not listen, please help me im so lost 😔😔 xx
Endometriosis : Hi, im really after some... - Endometriosis UK
Endometriosis
Bless you! I’m in exact the same situation. I am in so so much pain and it leaves me unable to do much. I’ve found taking Feminax or Ibuprofen does help to relieve the pain... have you tried any of these?
Also it might be worth having a look into TENS machines. I bought a Beurer tens machine which is for endo and menstrual pains. I stick it on my stomach and it does alleviate the pain. The only downside is. I also get pain in my back and the top of legs. The tens machine only helps the area it’s stuck on.
I’ve also ordered some supplements. Endo complex by Wild Nutrition. The reviews tend to be quite good. I’ve attached the link so you can have a look into it yourself wildnutrition.com/products/...
Hope this helps. I’m new myself and I’m also looking for pain relief.
Ah no! Its so difficult to find a good consultant and the one who knows what to do. Mine was very good. After when i told her all about my symptoms she said straight its sound like endo stage 4. I have painful bowel movements. My right shoulder pain is unbearable and im taking cocodamol or zapain at night and paracetamol during the day. Also pain during sex. My consultant said that i will have laparoscopy so i am waiting for the op date. Im 42 and never been pregnant. I had 3 unsuccessful ivfs. Can’t you ask for different consultant? Wishing you good luck!
I am so sad to hear about your pain and that crazy Consultant. I joined here today and so new here too!
Patient Liaison Office at your hospital....ring them and explain what the Consultant said and you can ask to see another Dr and it be anonymous. You can just spill it all out for them to help you.
I have and they’re helping...it’s slow going but they get on it on your behalf. The process means you have rights and are treated well.
Everything is harder when you’re in pain though....I am so sorry lovely!
