Physio assessment

Good morning,

I am new to posting but not new to reading all of the wonderful advice from you ladies.

So basically my sudden unbearable pain started before Christmas and since then it’s just been there. Pelvic pain, leg, back pain all on the right side. Haven’t had a pain free day for months. I have been back and forth to the hospital, I’ve had scans, ultrasound showed a 4.4mm cyst on my right ovary which they feel isn’t to do with the pain. I’ve been to my gp so many times, I’ve had a private consultant gynaecologist and he says everything is fine. My periods are unpredictable. One month a full blown heavy one for a week or so and then the next just 3 weeks worth of old blood, this months is really late however having the niggles it’s coming. My bowels are painful to go and some bleeding from my butt too! Every time I go to hospital it’s ‘ oh it must be muscular skeletal’ literally so fed up of hearing that one! Anyway I have had 3 physio sessions which I decided to go get checked with 2 different physiotherapists as they were at a stump. It’s not muscular skeletal however whatever is going on is probably causing this as a secondary source. She said I have a lot of weakness in my right side deep abdominal muscle, right glute and hip area. She believes this could be down to something going on internal that is affecting these muscles.

I just wondered if anyone else had a physio assessment prior to being diagnosed, did it help?! I have a nhs gynaecologist appt next week, which I will be taking the report from the physio with me.

I am just absolutely at my wits end of not being listened to, I know something is going on. I’m a single mummy of 2, a teacher of special needs and I am just not on the top of my game like I use to be. I have had to take time off from school which I hate doing but just couldn’t sort my pain management out. I am going back on Monday which I’m really nervous about due to learning how to deal with this chronic pain whilst working a very hectic job as well as being a good mum!

Any advice on what to bring to my appt next week? I am going to demand a lap diagnosis. But hey who knows how that’s gonna go! I literally cannot be a person that waits 2 million years for a diagnosis.

Anyway that felt good to rant!😂 any advice is more than welcome!

Thank you for reading

Xxx
