I was diagnosed with endo aged 21, have had 4 surgeries and 3 successful pregnancies. Symptoms have been very much in abeyance over the last few years. Then last month was shocking pain for days, late and heavy period. I ovulated yesterday and was in so much pain I couldn’t sit down
I suspect I am starting the menopause (I am 46) but can’t find much info about endo and how not affects the menopause. Has anyone got any info

I feel you need to get a 125 blood test and get your ovaries and womb checked and bowel. When menopause happens there are many changes in the body.
I have had stage 4 Endo most of my life. No children. My Endo has slowed but is still troubling me at 60+my menopause started late at 56. The bowel can get beded down and effect other organs also fibroids and cyst can plague older woman. I have had 6 ops. Several huge cysts. The risk of cancer is higher due to Endometriosis. Cancer in this area can be vague for a long while so symptoms are often late.
Go to your GP. Get fast tracked. I am doing this myself at the moment.
