Went to see the gynaecologist team for the first time yesterday and Ive had to sign the papers for my operation. It all seems so real but the meds I’m on are hardly working. Can anyone help?
I’m gutted that it’s come to this but I’m happy I finally know what is going on. Can anyone give me advice for before my operation and after. And advice on how you cope with it all. Thanks 😊

Not as scary as my imagination was telling me. I had to buy a dress for after as I didn’t want anything round my waist. I used Emla cream for where they put the needle in to knock you out. Hate needles.
I didn’t get sick after, I was told it can happen because of the gas. Take a small overnight bag in case you’re last and can’t go home too soon.
Give yourself time to recover, it’s different for everyone.
