I have stage iv endo and Adenomyosis but my consultant wants to see if we can run the clock down and hope menopause kicks in. Mmm. Anyway, I was looking for advice re reducing the bloated stomach - it’s permanent for me but with even worse days. My consultant just said eat less and do exercise - grrrrr...I do this and careful about food and do lots of exercise. So feel really fed up. It went up 12cm in 3 weeks last November and no sign of going. Anything you have done would help. I suspect actually treating my endo and Adenomyosis would help many life improvements but again consultant just saying let the clock tick dow . Am 49...

Advice for reducing endo and Adenomyosis bloat
I’m in the same boat as you, 49, really, really, really hoping my periods will dry up. I get horrendously bloated most days. I’m actually going back to basics for the next few months with regard to diet and exercise as I’ve slacked off during lockdown and gained weight round my middle. I don’t feel good at all. So. Going to start ultra healthy veggie diet again and cut out all the nasties. EVERY time I’ve done this my bloating and pain improves drastically. I refuse to take the plethora of hormones the medical profession dish out so readily. I’m always going to do what’s best for me. Read my profile or get in touch if you want my support. Nina.
When you have so much inflammation in your body you need to make sure you’re feeding it foods that won’t cause further inflammation. Eliminate gluten/wheat, dairy and sugar. These things will make the inflammation worse which then makes the bloating worse. Also try to remove as much processed foods and eat as organic as you can. It’s not an easy diet to follow but if you do you will feel so much better.
I have severe GERD (gastrointestinal esophageal reflux disease) and was getting a bit lax with my diet the past couple months. Well the GERD got so bad and so did the bloating. I’ve now been drinking coconut water and my bloating is at least in half and my reflux is way better.
It sucks having to give up the good stuff but I would rather feel better.
