Diaphragmatic endo

Hi lovelies,

Is it possible to have diaphragmatic endo without ‘normal’ endo?

I don’t really have symptoms of ‘normal’ endo and the only symptom I have of diaphragmatic endo is shoulder pain when I’m on?

Any advice/answers would be great x

I believe you can have endo without having symptoms, anything could be possible. There are so many different things that could cause shoulder pain, have you spoken to GP, worth bringing it up.

I mentioned it to the GP once, he shrugged it off as such and told me it’s when the egg is releasing but yet I don’t get it when I ovulate only when I’m on my period. My first day is today but I haven’t got the shoulder pain yet which is good. I also had gallstones so I had my gallbladder removed which could of caused shoulder pain but I still get it most months on my time of the month, x

GP’s don’t seem to want to consider endo related stuff. Not one GP has wanted to talk about it since diagnosis, although that could be my fault as had private diagnosis and asked why they ignored things last year 😂

If it’s affordable might be worth seeing a specialist, or still asking GP for referral and rule it out.

Yeah, I’m going to mention it all again and see if they will do anything if not I will look at going private.

It’s only bothering me so much as me and partner have just started to try for a baby and I’m just worried it might never happen 😢

Yes it is. You may have it in other areas. The werid thing about this disease is. You can suffer in 1 area, then it appears to get better then it might flare up somewhere else then appear to improve then go back to the old area. Some people it gets worse and worse. Some people it stays the same. Some people have Endo but have no symptoms at all!

Even a few men have got it!

I started with bowel issues then womb. Then lungs bleeding every mth between 32yrs and 36yrs.

I still have some of the symptoms and new ones with organ flexibility, walking issues. bladder and bowel emptying, stomach digestion, general pain most of the time, inflammation, the body generally not performing as well.

My problems started at 10yrs. I am now 60+ and childless, but I did try IVF.

Good Luck.

Thank you.

I’m going to mention it to the doctor more until they look into it for me.

The more I read about it, I am convinced I have it 😢
