This will be my last post on here for a little while as I try to come to the relief of my diagnosis and get on best I can.
However I’m going back to work on Monday and although I’m waiting for a laparoscopy - what should work now as I think end is classed as a disability and how should they be helping me
Thanks in advance

Endometriosis isnt classed as a disability as the degree of variation between people who suffer is so large. It’s more likely to be seen as a chronic gynaecological condition. If you struggle at work it might be worth asking them to refer you to occupational health, who can give you and your work guidance and a plan to help you x
Have you got a diagnosis? Or waiting for one if you’re waiting for a lap?
- could be worth speaking to work with regards to your health and see what they can help you with. I was asked to give my work place suggestions which would help me
It’s a debilitating condition but it’s not a disability but they should still be understanding and supportive. I think also technically you have to have the lap first to have the official diagnosis. X
