Endo illness

Just wanted to share do u ever feel that not everyone can understand the endo illness or the pain u go through as they think u are faking it or just a period type pain. I have a case were i feel that woman around me seem like she thinks its nothing sever and just making a big deal about the illness. It does hurt u as u know how bad a endo.is wen u have it. How can u make that person understand

Show them the forum maybe, it’ll show how many are suffering, and the endo uk website.

If you do a search there are some celeb stories out there.

You know the person close to you and what they’ll relate to.

It’s very hard, I’m possibly lucky at the moment, but have said let me know if I’m moaning too much 😊

It's a sad fact of life that no one can feel another's pain. I had mild to medium Endo and was in a lot of pain. I would not wish Endo on anyone. Don't let her get the better of you. Keep safe

I think lots of people need educating. And no one gets it until they get it. If the person/people matter to you, share articles with them and ask them directly if they understand why you are always in pain etc. If they still refuse to understand, then you have to let go and focus on yourself and your health. You can't make people care or understand if they don't want to.

I find this .. although I do find people try to be as supportive as they can but they just can’t understand how bad it is and I don’t think you can do anything to even help them. If you think about all the things we go through with this imagine if you had never experienced it could you ever imagine someone to live a day to day life with it? It’s almost unimaginable. You’ve got everyone’s support on this forum though! I think my family don’t know the full extent of mine as I don’t like to moan to them too much because I know they won’t get what I’m on about. Hope this makes sense ! X
