I was diagnosed with severe endometriosis back in 2018. Have had several lapropcopy operations to remove cysts from my ovaries to find that one cyst is trapped near the bowel tube and the Gynae surgeon says it’s a risk of erupting the bowl if touched. So controlling the area with pain relief. I also have one Fallopian tube that is open the other is completely damaged. My heart sank with this devastating news all in one hit. I am 42 years old single very keen to be a mum but I feel my changes of even getting pregnant is slim as my fertility might be low. I am not giving up I will do whatever it takes to get what I want. Is there anyone experiencing a similar situation.
Look forward to hearing your views.

Hi I'm 42 and single as well. I've been told am too high risk for laproscopy so never had it just mri scan diagnosed it where it's all in the pouch of Douglas stage 3/4. I really feel for you, I was due to start fertility treatment but it had to be cancelled. Take care xx
Was so lovely to get a reply from someone. I am so sorry to hear your at high risk and they won’t operate it really saddens me to hear your story. I don’t even know if I am fertile or not as I have no man to test this out. I so want to experience being a mother but I feel my changes have slipped away due to my severe condition that hits me hard. Life can be very cruel. I am not giving up I will look into perhaps sperm donor or maybe adoption. Please take care and hope life treats you well all the best.
Hi yes it's good to explore all options I think there's so much expectation to be a mum as well, it's really unfair isn't it? I'm just taking things a day at a time and will see what happens. Take care xxx
