I applied and I was no where near successful. I am gi

Oing to ask my gp and consultant to help my appeal. This is so unfair. I have only a few days out the month pain free. Had to leave my job and my degree took 2 years longer than it should have.

Thanks ladies

Stay safe

Hi . You need to ask the citizens advice specialists benefits adviser to help you. They will do a submission. Also check various disability websites and YouTube as there are posts that explain the process and what they are looking for. The citizens advice are the first o es to ask as they can help you decide if you would be entitled. There are also template doctors letters out there that help them to know what info to include. If you struggle to with things like getting dressed and washing yourself then pip is worth going for I think. If it’s pain limiting you it may be esa you need to apply for. The medical assessors are encouraged to find you fit for work so an appeal is likely. Over 70% of appeals are won. You will also need to reapply after a period of time usually 2 years and have to do it all again including the appeal. It’s a hard soul destroying process. If you need more info pm me Good luck. X

Great they are the best place to start. You’ll have to see a generalist adviser who will then refer you to specialist. It’s free but it will take time to get an appointment even more so with the virus but they do a freephone advice line for initial contact. It will help to bullet point how the illness affects your daily life to help them identify what benefits you are entitled to . X

I don’t know if it’s possible, does depend on the individual. I would recommend if you do put in a claim. Make sure you describe worst days and provide lots of medical info. A copy of any records you have/can obtain.

Are you claiming ESA (sick pay)?

Getting advice from CAB is useful and this site benefitsandwork.co.uk/

Good luck
