scar/incision endometriosis?

Has anyone been diagnosed with scar/incision endometriosis? I had my 4th csection last year and have been left with a large mass of scar tissue which is extremely painful during my period and my periods have become much heavier. Looking online there seems to be studies in other countries which suggest that scar or incision endometriosis is a thing but difficult to diagnose. There dosnt seem to be anything in the UK about this and my doctor is dismissing the fact that my scar tissue hurts during my period. I feel like I am going crazy because nobody believes me so I am hoping to find other people who are in similar situation?

Well I see you didn’t get a response here and doctors here are clueless! mine started with pain in my scar and I kept telling my partner my scar is changing as I was getting other scars there what weren’t there before after researching I found it’s very much a thing my first c section they did and second it was scar revision aswell which they have obviously done wrong as I didn’t have endo before that or bad periods even it all started after my last c section

I believe you. I am convinced I have it. Pain over scar that feels like its ripping. Large lump on right side that aches and burns and throbs with every period. Lump on left said that hurts so much that i cant even sneeze or cough when i am on my period and when i do it feels like being kicked by a horse in my abdomen. :( ><.

They said its my uterus stuck to my abdominal wall. I beg to differ that's all it is. Because it only hurts when i am on period. Which means its responding to the same hormones. I did my research and yes this thing does exist but is rare supposedly and that its extremely difficult to diagnose (hence all the going around in circles with doctors bit).

I am living with it, controlling it through diet. It seems to have just stayed the same. However i have no idea what i'll do if it gets bigger or makes my life even more unbearable or starts to affect other organs ( I really hope not). I really don't want surgery. So i feel I am just suspended in mid air at the moment. Part of me hopes it just goes away in time and the other part just hopes even if it doesn't, that it just stays the same at least.

Just waiting to see what happens on this anti-inflammatory diet. GP thinks it'll work and help shrink lump. Only time will tell I guess.

Hope you feel better
