Apparently it's OK to swim once the wounds have healed completely.

What is completely healed - they look healed but still have stitched that have absorbed/ends haven’t dropped off

How long is it since your op?

2 and a half weeks - how long are the stitches likely to take to go?

You should be OK to go swimming, as long as it doesn't overstretch you or cause any pain.

Don't worry about the ends of the stitches. If you're worried in any way, either phone the hospital ward or see your GP practice nurse.

Were you told to go for a wound check?
