Hi everyone. So i have all the classic symptoms of endo and I have my diagnostic lap next week but im really nervous as my symptoms have seemed to all of a sudden disappear...i feel like its about 3 months in between me being absolutely fine, mood wise, pain wise, being able to eat anything (dairy, gluten) back to my severe symptoms. I know they will eventually come back there is a pattern which is why i think its something more than IBS...does anyone else have such a long gap in between symptoms?
Symptoms are
Fainting when starting period with severe pain, hold and cold sweats
Severe back pain, bloating, headaches
Severe moods, depression almost suicidal

I had this! I almost cancelled my diagnostic lap because my symptoms disappeared so convinced myself I didn’t have it! I only went ahead because a friend was diagnosed with no symptoms. Lucky I did because I was diagnosed with severe endo. Unfortunately I feel worse after the lap and my symptoms have got worse. Don’t know if it’s because I know I have it so am noticing things more or the op made it worse or it’s just getting worse anyway. But I am now waiting for further surgery to remove it.
Of course it’s totally up to you. I discussed with my gynae consultant and she was happy to push my lap back a few months and wait and see if symptoms returned and then decide but in the end I went ahead on original date.
Thanks for your reply. Someone advised its maybe because im taking the pill again the symptoms stop? I have the lap next week so going to take a longer pill break and see how it goes until then. I also had an internal ultrasound yesterday which come back clear....i just want answers and really doubting it now
Sorry to hear you are suffering more now, i hope it gets sorted for you x
I wasn’t on the pill at the time but I was exercising a lot, training for a half marathon so that might have had something to do with it.
My ultrasound came back all clear too. Such a shame the only way to confirm it is through an op. I hope it goes ok, I’m sure it will, and then you’ll have some answers x
