Pain during and after sex....😔

Hi ladies.

Hope you are all as well as can be.

I just have some questions on pain during and after sex with endometriosis stage 4.

Does anyone else get pain during and after sex with endo?

This happens as soon as I’ve ovulated right up until my period. It really upsets me.

I’m trying to conceive with endo and only one tube so as you can see it’s hard enough as it is. The pain I feel I just don’t understand how a baby can ever be safe in my womb?

Any advice would help.

Thanks 😊

So sorry you feel this way I do get pain now and again which is the scar tissue what endo forms and it can be painful and tense I find relaxing and breathing whilst having sex helps .i totally understand what you mean about feeling like your wombs not good enough I feel like that and I took it upon myself of not trying to ttc before having a lap and a good clear out of whatever is going on in their time is not really on my side but I’d rather think I made the right decision and not risk losing another baby because my womb was not hostile .i llost my last baby at 12.5 week.also all the trouble with endo on my bowls I think how can my womb be a good environment.

After sex I get burning pains when I pee and bleed a lot it can be uncomfortable but during the week I try and make sure I put my fingers in to keep it more open cause scar tissue makes it tight and painful it closes you up but you can get dialaters for this I just use my fingers I don’t do anything sexual I just try and make sure it’s been used sort of thing if I haven’t had sex in a while I like to loosen it a bit sorry if it sounds tmi but wanted to help as I know how distressing painful sex is sometimes my hips get painful too from thrusting

I’ve just had a clear out in sept. I had a lap and these pains after ovulation before my period seem to still be there. That’s how I know I’m not pregnant every month because as soon as the pains start after ovulation I know I’m not pregnant. Sorry to hear your loss this illness is a pain. I lost my baby in July I had an ectopic and also lost my tube. My pain seems to feel like it’s inside when I’m having sex likes it’s actually coming from my womb. Do you spot before you start a period I have like a week of spotting before I come on. My partner is quite large so this doesn’t help but I feel I always pull away as he goes in. Just feel you can’t enjoy it if you know what I mean. If I do orgasm I get cramping afterwards. I had a bit of surgery on my cervix as well due to abnormal cells so maybe this might explain it. Il try what you said see if that makes any difference. How are you doing trying to conceive. Are you having or planning any fertility treatment? Xxxx

My gynaecologist has a put me on pill till I get sorted I’m afraid to try again because of ectopic is common if you have endo I know my endo is worse I’ve felt like you have before like I want to push away the only thing what worked was grin and bear it eventually that kind of pain went I think it’s to do with where scar tissue is located but it can minimise the more you have sex I could be wrong but that’s what I think as I don’t always have the pain
