Zoladex without HRT

I was told to come off of HRT about 6 weeks ago, last week I had my sixth zoladex injection. Does anyone have any tips for coping without HRT? I’m at my wits end I can’t remember the last time I slept properly, I’m exhausted. The hot flushes are insane. I literally sleep for half an hour at a time before being woken up by being so frickin hot. I have all the windows open and a fan on (yes my partner hates me seeing as it’s the middle of frickin winter 😂) somehow help me sleep?! 😞 I went out at 10pm the other night in just leggings and a strap top in 2c and wasn’t cold....

I went a short time without HRT early and there are a few things I *think* helped - you might have to experiment a bit.... generally with diet - there were some foods (like chocolate) that seemed to make the hot flushes worse) and that I learnt to avoid in the evening. Also, I grated fresh tumeric into EVERYTHING (within reason). It makes nice tea too. Fresh seems to work best.

I also found that exercising more helped - yes, it's horrible when you feel so hot, but it really did seem to make a difference if i did it early evening (even a brisk walk). Good luck!

Oh, I'm also a big fan of the daytime nap...
