Finally 😃 happy Friday 13th to me!

I finally have my pre op assessment date through for diagnostic (and removal if found) laparoscopy.

I’m now worried I’ll get there and say I’m not fit and well enough for it. Does weight pose a problem for this?

I don't know the answer I'm afraid.

But, theres no need to panic. The doctor/nurse will undoubtedly be lovely and walk you through your options even in your worst case scenario.

It’s understandable, waiting is always the worst bit in my opinion!

If you really are worried then I think it’s perfectly okay to ask a friend to come along with you. Or allow yourself some me-time/treat-time after.

Yes I think I’ll get hubby to come with me as some times I don’t think I take in everything in that is said to me xx

I’m quite curvaceous ( 😂) and they managed fine thou I think it was a slightly more intrusive than a normal lap as I have a spare tyre or 2 🤦‍♀️. But don’t worry about it. They will weigh you at your pre op and possibly take bloods etc. You will be fine. Let us know how you get on xxx
