Don’t know where to put myself...what’s going on?

I’m pretty sure it’s ovulation time but the pain is excruciating! I can’t sit because I feel so tender but can’t work out whether pain is bottom or what feels like a bruised cervix(don’t know if that exists?) and can’t stand long because feels like something is being pulled down and almost labour type pain/pressure. Right side pelvis feels full, Tender and pain runs from just below ribs in flank area down to inner thigh. I can’t find a comfortable position and pass small clots each time I sit on the toilet. Any ideas?. Def not pregnant!

That sounds awful. My worst pain comes at ovulation too. Sending love x

Hmm. My left rib down to my left pelvis also hurt, in 4 specific places. It turns out I had disease growing in most of these areas and it’s triggered by certain foods, stress, movements, postures, etc. the AIP diet really helped me along with excision surgery and hypopressive breathing exercises

Hi - I had a diagnostic lap in Feb and was diagnosed with endo on ouch if Douglas and various other places on my abdominal wall. It was excised and whilst much of the pain has gone some remains and the consultant thinks I’ve also got adenomyosis so prob going to have a hysterectomy when all this is over! X

Thanks so much for responding. I had my 4th lap in dec as I'd previously been diagnosed and treated for endo. No endo found but the dr suspects adenomyosis- had and mri today and waiting on results. I feel like I'm going slightly mad with all this - especially as no endo was found...did he miss something?!

It's so reassuring to hear that I'm not alone in this. Thank you so so much for replying. Hope you continue to have less pain! xx

It’s so frustrating trying to get answers! I’ve been through bowel, bladder and other gynae exams/tests/cameras before I saw the most recent gynae and all said nothing wrong but yet my pain was rapidly getting worse! I had my follow up from lap two weeks ago and he said prob adenomyosis and suggested prostap but I panicked and said no because the pain was better than before excision. Typically I’ve been in agony since so once the corona virus has passed I think I’m go8ng to go for a hysterectomy so I can get some quality of life back! I’ve been working from home fortunately and struggling with feeling like I’m sitting on a metal spike! I hope you’re coping alright? What are the next steps for you? X

Ouch - that sounds painful! Any better today? My pain is a little less today which is a relief. Bleeding has lightened too. Had a bloody explosion 3 days ago - ruined my brand new bedroom carpet. :(

My consultant fitted the mirena coil about 5/6 weeks ago (excruciating!) - but i only lasted a month as it severely affected my mood. I would, however, say that it was beginning to help with the pain. (but i also had continuous bleeding and the sorest breasts known to man!) I guess I'll wait and see what the MRI says. I'm still wondering if something has been missed. Consultant suggested chemically induced temporary menopause - but anything hormone related terrifies me. Have you already been down that route? xx

I turned down the temporary menopause injections too as similarly the coil affected my mood badly for the first couple of months but has settled now. Bleeding a lot less with the coil but I still get the cramps which is annoying but also why the consultant suspects adeno - oh and the bloating!! X
