Today I was diagnosed with deeply infiltrating endometriosis affecting the bowel and vagina. Seeing my consultant in the next couple of weeks but I was wondering if anyone else has had this diagnosis and what was your treatment. I’ve read that surgery is the option for a diagnosis of DIE1

Hi- I had excision surgery in March for deep infiltrating endo- it ended up being 8hrs long as everything was fused together but thankfully since I’ve had no issues and recovered well x
