I drank hot peppermint cordial and it honestly worked wonders. Tasted vile and I gagged the whole time, had to wash each mouthful down with a mouthful of orange juice but I was in so much pain with it I'd have done anything x

Peppermint tea! Lots of it! I found it helpful after my lap.

It may take a couple of weeks, but the gas discomfort will dissipate. Get plenty of rest and avoid fatty carbohydrate laden foods. This will make you even more bloated and constipated and put pressure on your wounds. Take a fiber supplement to help keep your bowels clear and drink plenty of water to keep yourself hydrated. Again, dehydration causes additional bloating. I'd highly recommend good digestive health to anyone suffering with endometriosis.

I found moving around helped alleviating the pain also. Walking, moving my shoulders around and swinging my arms lightly. Good luck!

Walking (making a point to lifr your knees as high as you comfortably can) and gentle stretching of your core torso might help. Do you have anyone that could gently lift and bend your legs up for you while laying on your back? Not sure how the strain of doing it yourself will affect you after surgery...

Rubbing your tummy in little circles, following a swirl path, ending on your left may help to shift some as well. Again, just be careful of putting any stress on areas that are healing.

There are a few products you can take for gas build up (other than peppermint based ones) in the pharmacy area of local chemist or grocery store. They will be around where immodium is shelved.

I sometimes find ginger helps. If you can't stomach it as a drink (either tea or flat ginger beer or ginger ale) then ginger biscuits might help.

Good luck!
