Feeling anxious after zoladex treatment.

Hello! I had 4 Zoladex injections and it’s been a month since I had the last one. I still have hot flushes, I can’t loose all the weight I put on (even when I’m on a diet) still don’t have my period, feel sad, angry and very anxious like if I am trapped with this drug inside me. I know it sounds silly but I just want to feel normal again and I was wondering if anybody else have felt this way after zoladex.

Hi. I had zoladex for 4 months in 2018. My last injection was August and my period returned in November . For me I was dreading the return as my periods are so horrendously painful. I am actually back on zoladex now and feel like I have my life back. But I know it doesn’t suit a lot of people.

I hope you get back to your normal self in a few weeks. It’s a strong drug so takes a while to get out of your system.

Thanks for sharing your experience with me... I suppose as you say, it’s a different experience for everyone... mine hasn’t been so good... I’m glad you feel better with the treatment

I can definitely relate to you, i had 6 x Zoladex Injections and side effects i got was hot flushes and serious weight gain. Unfortunately these injections haven’t worked for me but i feel trapped as i have changed my diet and dont seem to be losing any weight what so ever and it is really depressing.

I hope you feel normal again i wished there was a solution but can only keep trying doing what we think is best and keep eating the right foods.
