Traveling with an Endometrioma

Hi again all,

Hope you’re ok!

I wanted to ask some advice; I have a small Endometrioma on my left ovary. I’ve just come back to the doctors as we have been watching and waiting to see how my periods are etc and my most recent period has been completely normal and I’ve had no pain or other symptoms.

I am due to go on holiday soon- I’m off to Prague for 2 days next week and then 2 weeks later I’m going to Greece for a week.

I am due my period that day that I am due to fly to Greece and I'm worried about the risk of my Endometrioma rupturing during the flight?! Is this a possibility?! Am I safe to travel?

I’ve flew to New York with endometrioma cysts in both ovaries and they are stuck together and was fine. I’m flying to Florida next week and I don’t even know if my cysts have grown or not I’m in pain but I keep taking tablets for it. It should be fine there are many people out there that have endometrioma cysts and don’t know it
