Supplements and Birth Control

Hi all, begrudgingly I need to go on Birth Control to manage my endo. After years or trying to get my body back to normal and the last three months trying to cut back on all the chemicals in my body I am so upset it has come to this. I have done a bit of research but haven’t really found anything so thought someone may know the answer. Are there any supplements I should be taking while I am on the pill? X

Morning, I am not sure this is what you are after and are probably aware but I have found high potency turmeric (with black pepper/ Pepperdine) has really helped with pain management, did take around 6 weeks to feel the benefits. Also Evening primrose oil can help with side effects from birth control and even natural hormones (again take 6 weeks or so to kick in) hope you have a good day today xx

Thank you so much, I will definitely try evening primrose oil. Instead of tumeric I have ginger but saying that I did order tumeric in my food shopping this week x

You may want to double check that ginger is not an oestrogen rich food? I have an inkling that it could be...

Thank you! I just had a little search and it’s a confusing one. All my books suggest cooking with ginger, can’t find too much on the next just a medical journal. Thanks for h/l this x
