Back to back pill

So the consultant told me to take my pill back to back for 3 months (and while I’m waiting for my lap) so that I wouldn’t have a period and I wouldn’t have any pain..... well, I’m having both. Anyone else experienced this? I’m still bleeding, not as heavy as a period but it’s still making me uncomfortable and I never know when it’s going to happen and I’m still having such bad pain. Couldn’t get to sleep for ages last night as I was in agony 😫

I never reacted well on hormon therapy. Some women feel absolutely fantastic, no pain, no spotting, no bleeding, no side effects. I wasn't one of those women unfortunately. I've tried the mirena coil, mini pill, patches....Nothing worked! Everybody is different and what works for some will not work for others. Unfortunately in my experience most doctors think the opposite. If your consultant is sympathetic try convinsing him/her to change the brand, sometimes helps. Or it may be the case that the endo is progressed enough that it absolutely needs to be removed before you feel better.
