Prostrap injection

Hi is anyone on prostrap and had a period whilst on it. I have been on it 6 month periods stopped. But I then had a period on 21st May then again today. Any ideas would appreciate it. Thanks

I’ve been taking Prostap on and off for about 5yrs now.

Like you,I have had the same problem. I had a period in April lasting 2wks.

This happened to me last year too. I was sent for an ultrasound and a hysteroscopy to check what could be the cause. The good news, nothing nasty was found just quite a few fibroids.

I’ve made an appointment to see my gynaecologist to discuss this incident.

It will be interesting to see what response you get from your post.

Thanks for your comment, I appreciate you taking the time. I told my Gynaecologist when I seen her 2 weeks ago and she just didn’t seem bothered. Am just confused as I thought having the injections stopped you periods. They seem to be really heavy in the morning then go to nearly nothing, then starts again in the morning. Hopefully more ppl may comment and give some advice. Thanks again x

fibroids will make Ur periods worse

Hi, I am on this I was told at the start my period should stop etc. I have carried on bleeding while on it and I'd anything am bleeding more and heavier. When I spoke to gynaecologist they said it is normal for some people to bleed on this whether its occasionally or all the time. Hope this helps. X
