Hi everyone, hope you’re all having a comfortable day. I’m writing to ask if anyone experienced nerve damage after surgery namely in the bladder but also in the groin?
I do have interstitial cystitis as well but this had been in remission for YEARS before I had my 6th lap on 22 March - which was admittedly a big one - and since then my bladder has been really irritated and I’ve been getting weird nerve pain and buzzing all in my vulva. I was diagnosed with vulvodynia years ago but it was provoked (IE during sex) and after Botox treatment stopped completely. Now it seems to be all the time made worse whilst sitting.
I’ve started to see a women’s physio who did an exam and we are working on my pelvic floor muscles which are very tight and I feel it helps a lot. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar xxx
