I’ve never posted on here before but I’m on the last month of my Prostap SR injection which the gynaecologist put me on for 4 months to ‘make sure my ovaries are the problem’ (I always knew they were!) what’s the normal step after this? I haven’t had a laparoscopy yet or anything but I’ve had loads of scans etc and one lady said she believes it’s endo as my left ovary wasn’t very mobile during the scan but it’s been going on for over 7 years and now they’ve started to act, I’m only 21 so it’s a lot! 🙄 but I’m confused as to what will happen now as my gyne doc said he didn’t want to do a lap if it is endo because they will only remove the endo for it to grow back again? Has this happened to anyone else? They’ve not confirmed what it is yet but I’ve always had extreme pain, during sex, when I stretch, 90% of my life!

Prostap SR what comes next? Not been diagnosed yet but on last 3 weeks of Prostap SR
Hi Elle, I’m in the same position as you. I’m 22, had pain for years and have been put on Prostap SR. I’ve had a laparoscopy and nothing was found by the specialist wanted to try the injections to see if there was any improvement, which there had been. Have you felt a difference while you’ve been on Prostap? Love Laura xx
Hi Laura, I felt a whole load of difference, I’ve been able to get on with my life 70% of the time with these injections but I don’t want to stay on them or have any contraception as I’ve already had 2 implants and I’m worried for my fertility. I finally see my gyne on the 30th but they’re never in a rush. It’s all so stressful just to be pain free! He just wanted to prove that my ovaries were the issue even though I told him they were and now that’s been proved I have no idea what will be done! Such a time wasting process! Hope your gyne makes so progress soon! Elle xxxx
