Hi everyone, I just need to sound out to someone lol. I had a ultrasound scan on the 6th feb along with some bloods, I have to wait till the 7th March for my results (first doctors appointment). I called the doctors yesterday on the off chance I would get my scan results quicker as usually they tell me there’s nothing there but this time they advised that the doctor has looked at then and all they can tell me is I need to make sure I attend my appointment. I know it’s nothing mega serious else they would already have had me back but I’m panicking now about what it is 🥺

What symptoms have you had? It could be something as small as a cyst, so don’t start worrying yourself!

Im getting lots of pain and bloating still, still bleeding after 9 months of the merina coil and constant aching.

I hated the marina coil. It made me have so much pain in my back. If it were something serious, they would have called you in early, so the best thing to do is not to overthink it, even though it’s a long wait to have. Do your doctors do triage?

No they don’t unfortunately. Had to go back for another blood test today as one of my last tests clotted. Just makes me anxious thinking what it could be

Does your doctors surgery offer on the day or telephone appointments? That might get you in sooner.

Sometimes i go to reception and ask for a printout of my last test/scan.

Good luck, it's such a worrying time of uncertainty. There's nothing you can do in the meantime so as my pre op nurse wisely said, don't let it stop you living your life.

They do offer some telephone consultations but they want me to see the doctor. I know it’s nothing serious it’s just the not knowing what it is xx
