Hey , I’ve not been on here for a while hope everyone is all ok and doing good.

I have finally got my date for my big op only had to wait 11 months for it! It’s been a complete nightmare but I’m so ready for this op. While I’ve been waiting my specialist put me on induced menopause I started this in September it’s been ok I’m suffering from hot flushes but that really the only thing from menopause. It’s has slightly helped my endo pain but also still on a lot of medication. I’m now also on morphine 4x a day for the pain. I’m soo ready for my op but getting very nervous.

I received a phonecall from hospital to tell me my date also to come off menopause and HRT I’m still suffering from hot flushes more than I have ever since being on menopause, I’m guessing it may take a while for my period to come bk. xx

Hi there, when I came of decapeptyl injunctions it took about three months for my period to return. I think it can take a while to get out of your system. I think it also depends how long you have been having the treatment. I only had a few months and it still took ages for everything to return to normal.

Good luck with your op and recovery x
