I’ve been diagnosed with server endometriosis and just seen my consultant today who now has said I need to wait for mri. To see how bad it’s stuck to my bowel ans then the op to remove it all .....
bit nervous about it all .. I’m 31 not tried for kids yet because of all the bowel problems I’ve had ..
they’ve advised me to try zoladex injections to help before my next op
Has anyone had this ??
Thank u

Hi, I too have endo. I'm not sure what stage but I get excruciating pain every month after my period. I was prescribed zoladex after my first lap at 19 years old as the pain came back worse. After a lot of research I decided against using it. The side effects are horrendous and personally lived with the pain endo than those side effects. You should definitely do your own research into it. X
Firstly I'm sorry to hear about it, I'm in same condition as yours, 31 years old, diagnosed with very severe endo in pouch of doughlas, ovary and bowel, I'm waiting for MRI( scheduled to be on Feb 14) and prescribed zoladex by the consultant.
I have booked an appointment with an endometriosis specialist for a second opinion on zoladex as the consultant didn't answer most of my questions about my condition. I'm trying to stay positive, and i'll keep you posted about how it goes!
