Another day in pain 😢 had to leave work early due to the pain! I’m so fed up!! I no work r going to try and reduce my hours cuz i can’t even do a full week at the moment but I can’t afford for my hours to be cut. I hate that no one will ever understand how much pain I’m in. My pain even made me be sick today.

Hi I feel for you as I am in the same situation, it’s difficult to go from one week to the next when ill and employers just don’t get it.

I have been through occupational health with the support of my GP.

Do you have Occ Health?

Can your doctor give you a letter for your employer to explain that when ill you need adjustments made?

That’s the thing they can asking what adjustments can we do and I’m like nothing cuz when I’m in pain there is nothing anyone can do. I just have to sit with a hot water bottle take painkillers and sleep and I can’t do that at work, I work in supermarket as a supervisor on the checkouts so I never sit down and I can never take myself away. Like managers can come in and say they feel rubbish and go hide away upstairs I can’t do that xxx
