Had my first zoladex injection 23 days ago. Was due my first period 3 days ago. I'm never late always regular and with the worst endo pains ever. Well I woke on Thurs nothing no pain no period. Same on Fri and now same today. No crippling pain that I can't even move with . Has it worked?? I have had moderate side effects from the zoladex crying alot hot flashes feeling so irritable. But to be pain free for the first time in a long while is amazing . I just hope this is real. I hope my surgery date comes quickly now.just glad I gave it a go .
I think it worked: Had my first zoladex... - Endometriosis UK

I've been on prostap and livial HRT since Feb. Just had my 10th injection on 21st Nov. I've had no periods or any of my usual endo symptoms. I'm also awaiting a hysterectomy. I've had the hot the hot flushes. I'm the same as you ... glad I gave it a go.
Glad to hear it. I am close to when I should be getting AF and feel a bit crampy. Hoping it will not show up. I am on the 3monthly Zoladex and had it at the end of Oct. I am waiting for a call back from my dr reg starting HRT as had bad hot flushes. What HRT are you on?
Honestly, i was very sceptical about Zoladex when they suggested it to me after my lap last Dec. I did a bit of research and saw all of the horror stories.....however, i was the same. No periods, no pain and the greatest 6 months of my adult life! Ok, so the hot flushes and the night sweats arent fun but i felt like a completely different person.
I finished them in July, by September the pain had returned and I have just been approved to have a full hysterectomy, im 30. Luckily i have a child and want no more. And whats even better is they have said i can go back on the zoladex whilst i wait for my op! I am so glad its working for you, just becareful it doesnt lull you into the "hurray i'm fixed" sense of security. It MAY not be that way when you stop the injections.
That being said.......enjoy it
