Lap hasn't worked and can't control my symptoms :(

Feeling really down and fed up :( I had my lap almost 6 months ago and had endo removed (cut out not lasered) from my bladder, bowel, side of the womb and back of my vagina. Was really hopeful that it would help my symptoms and it hasn't :( my guarnotolgist said that it doesn't always work for everyone and that he thinks I might have adenomyosis but to come back in 3 months for an examination if things are still bad. I'm also trying to conceive so can't go on anything else to try control endo apart from certain pain relief. I can't take ibrouphen (unless I'm on my period) cos I'm trying for a baby, and cocodomal makes me constipated and it's not helpful for my symptoms outside of my period. I feel like I have a UTI every day from when I ovulate to the end of my period, I have different types of pains that come and go randomly on my right side all month and it's so painful to have sex I cry from it (not ideal when trying to conceive) I feel so tired. How am I suppose to control these symptoms when I'm trying for a baby :( just feel so lost and in the dark here :( feel likes there's nothing I can do and I've tried so hard to be strong but it's hard.

Goodness what a horrible time you are having.

I can relate to this as I’m TTC & it’s pants for controlling symptoms!

It’s awful we have to chose between ttc or having our symptoms eased.

I’ve had 3 laps ( recent one by endo specialist) & never had much benefits . I still have hideous bowel issues which my endometriosis specialist thinks is caused by hormonal changes in my cycle & like you can do anything as I’m TTC but has sent to see a bowel specialist.

A few things that have helped me; following the anti inflammatory diet ( google it 👌🏻) , bee propolis daily, progesterone cream between days 8-26 of my cycle, mefenamic acid & transexamic acid have eased my periods flow & pain and are safe ttc. I also invest in fertility lube as sex is sometimes painful for me too! Sometimes it helps me if I climax before sex ( sorry TMI 🙈)

As for the urine issue I have problems holding urine on my period & I don’t know what to suggest.

Perhaps you could contact your GP to help manage these symptoms more effectively. xoxo

Around 4 months I think now but it's very difficult to try cos of the pain. I'm going to have a camera to see inside my bladder in a week cos I've been having a lot of bladder issues and might be the reason why sex is so painful. Hopefully get some answers or at least cross it off the list.
