Should I go to a BSGE instead of my gyne?

Hallo ladies. Hope everyone out there is finding ways through this s**t field.

I'm frustrated at the system, basically. I've only just seen my gyne for the second time since my first lap (a year last July). I've been showing signs of endo on my bowel, more pain than before, constipation, bloating, diarrhoea, blood in poo, etc etc etc. More general aches and pains, hip tension and stiffness, can't walk as far without pain....and then there's the fatigue!

The only treatment I've been offered is induced menopause, or referral to a bowel surgeon. I'm not keen on either. The gyne said the bowel surgeon would do lots of (uncomfortable) tests and then refer me back to gyne. Who would suggest menopause.

Quite frankly I don't want to put my body through yet another challenge. But then I can't go on like this.

I'm prone to feeling down/anxious in the winter, so not keen on living through side effects of menopause, and also wary of the possible fertility issues associated with Prostap.

Should I go to my GP and ask to be referred to a BSGE? Feeling so helpless - any experiences/advice REALLY appreciated!
