Zoladex and getting pregnant need advice

Hi ladies,

I had my first zoladex injection about 3-4 weeks ago it really knocked me about. So I don’t think I’m going to have anymore of the injections.

However my husband & I are thinking about trying for a baby & just wanted to know when zoladex gets out of your system so you can try?

Hey,

I can’t answer your post but just wanted to say Zoladex has also knocked me for 6. I had my 3rd and final injection a week ago and cannot wait for it to filter out of my system. What symptoms have you had?

We’re also wanting to try for a baby x

Hi,

I’ve had serve dizziness that lasted 2 and half weeks. I’ve been sick and had to be put on anti sickness tabs which I’m still on. I suffered really bad with fatigue due to my endo but even worse once had the injection.

Headaches and hot flushes. It put me out of action for 2 weeks.

I would rather have the pain then have another one.

What side effects have you had?

They say that if you’ve been on it for a licensed 6-month course or less, then it should work it’s way out of your system in 6-10weeks, but every woman’s body is unique. If it were me I’d probably wait a couple of cycles before I started trying. But as with all things medical, I’d recommend you have a chat to your GP/Specialist and ask their opinion on when best to start trying post-Zoladex just to make sure you are getting the most accurate advice.

Hi, yes i been trying for two months already but didt happen. Now im just checking and doing fertility testing. But in my experience i got the treatment with zoladex in july 2017, and it didnt got out of my system till march. Only cuz i got medication to induce my period, otherwise i dont know how long it will take for zoladex to get out of my system. I got one shot for 3 months only and it should take from 4 to 6 weeks to get out of ur system but for me that didnt happen 😕. But good luck pray to god everything works good.
