Hi ladies. Wanted to find out if any of you are on the prostap injections and if you take hrt tablets to help with side effects. If so what are the tablets called? Thank you x

I don’t take prostap but I take decapeptyl which is another GNRH drug. I take HRT - livial (tibolone) is the one I’ve been prescribed.

Hi Laura_T,

I have Prostap injections and take Kliofem HRT. I'd tried two other types first but they didn't suit me; this one is much better and they alleviate all the side effects of Prostap.

I had Prostap for 3 months but no HRT, side effects were not as bad as I thought they would be. There was never a discussion of HRT either.

Thank you ladies. I’ve been prescribed livial. Hoping that will help with the side effects x

Tibolone was given for me too - on my second injection. Since stopping them both I’ve been taking evening primrose oil
