Endometriosis and Tamoxifen

Hi ladies,

I was diagnosed with endometriosis after 25+ years of problems in October 2016 during emergency surgery. Had further planned surgery to remove ovarian cysts and extensive internal scarring and adhesions found throughout my abdomen. I am lucky in that I don't get that much pain. I was then diagnosed with breast cancer in Jan this year. Treatment has all gone fine but now I have to take Tamoxifen for 10 years. Pretty worried about this triggering endometriosis again, or all the other gynaecological issues Tamoxifen coupled with endometriosis may cause. My oncologist is dismissive as I'm not having any problems yet. I am struggling to get re-referral to gynaecologist as no current symptoms. There is not much conclusive research as far as I can see, apart from the suggestion this is not a great combination. Anyone else out there with both conditions and taking Tamoxifen? Would be really interested in how it is going/ any problems or solutions you have found, many thanks! I'm 43 and pre-menopausal.xx
