Walk in centre last night

Good morning ladies,

I spent 6 hours in the walk in centre last night because my pains just become unbearable and I needed something to last me until I seen my gynae next month. The nurse rang the on call gynae and she prescribed me diclofenac suppositories and said she will try and bring my appointment forward.

Has anyone had diclofenac suppositories before??? I’ve never had any type of suppository and I am actually very scared to start them today. I did ask whether I could have it orally and she advised to have it rectally, is this normal?

I think the theory is suppositories work and absorb faster, and that’s probably why they’ve prescribed you them as apposed to oral tablets, but I could be wrong x

Yes I found them much better than the tablets which made me feel ill-sick and diarrhoea! Hope you’re feeling better soon ❤️
