Hi all,

I just wanted to share this new device that is supposed to reduce period or endo cramps. I just ordered one (it’s expensive yes but currently on sale) as I need al alternative to drugs etc. And it might work?!

Anyway, I don’t know if any of you heard of this already but this is the link to the website where you can find videos and reviews for the Livia device:

I hope it works and helps whoever gets it!

Take care xxx

Hey, I’ve heard of it and looked into it. A lot of people claim the device never arrived to them and it’s based in Israel so to return it would cost a fortune plus the replaceable pads are expensive.

It’s basically a tens machine just a very expensive one. I’m going to buy a tens machine from Argos next week for £30 so I’ll try and see if it works.

Hi princess,

thanks for your reply!

oh fair enough. We'll see what happens then! I think that it depends what website you get it from as well. Mine was bought from the official website and it's coming from Canada. I'm just happy to try anything and I'm hoping it helps. Trying to stay positive x

I think a poster commented on another thread that they’d bought one and it made no difference. I can’t remember who posted, unfortunately.

I also posted about tens machines a few weeks ago and I’ve had some relief from a tens pen which I got in boots for £30. I’m pleased to have found something which helps a little that isn’t drugging me up... though about to start on decapeptyl so I guess I will be permanently drugged soon!

Best of luck x

It's an expensive tens machine. It can help some women but unfortunately has no help for me. Good luck with it.

I have one and I can't live without it now. I'm not going to pretend it blocks all the pain, but on those days when pain killers, hot water bottles etc etc aren't even taking the edge off, this is my saviour. I'd otherwise be panting and rolling around on the floor. It's an odd sensation, it's like one of those muscle training electric pulse machines. When you turn it up high your abs can dance around a bit. It's not perfect, but the Warren type has been honoured for some issues I've had with the wires breaking, and they also sent me loads and loads of gels pads because the delivery was quite delayed. If you can afford, 100% buy it

Hi BonpyV,

I'm so glad to hear that it works for you! Yeah, it does say that it is not supposed to completely take all the pain away, but it's meant to 'reduce' it. So that's fair enough.

That's exactly what I'm looking for - if hot water bottles etc don't work is great if you can have a back-up!

I bought it now so just need to wait for it to be delivered. But i think it might take up to 2 weeks as it comes from Canada xx

Yeah they just cost an absolute fortune as it claims to help endo sufferers and comes from abroad. However you can buy a tens machine for £30 from boots or Argos x
