MRI?

Hi everyone,

I had my first lap 3 years ago and have my second in a couple of weeks time. I suffer with severe leg, hip and back pain. The doctors refuse to let me have an MRI scan though and I’m worried in the next lap they won’t investigate down my leg to see if endo is there... is it likely to be in my leg? Or will it be more likely that it’s referred pain?

Hi. Hope you're ok. I too suffer from terrible pains in legs hips pelvis area etc some days o find it so hard to walk with the pain. I suspect it's sciatic pain trapped nerve or refferes pain from somewhere . I requested an mri before surgery as i was convinced I had it on my bowels. (Turned out I do. So 4th surgery planned for I assume a few weeks time as just got my pre op through. Keep pushing if you need want something done. No one knows ours bodies like we do. And no one has x-ray eyes to see inside xx good luck

Thanks so much for this, in a weird way it’s useful to know that other people have the same symptoms because then I know it’s not in my head as some people leave me to believe!! Good luck for your next lot of surgery xx
