Endo returned after having children

Hi ladies, so unfortunately it seems my endo has returned after an amazing pain free couple of years (2 pregnancies in quick succession and breast feeding)

It’s slightly different from before though, I’ve always experienced pain around my left kidney (my specialist says I have quite a lot of endo around the kidney but hard to treat due to where it is) and I usually got the pain for the 5 days leading up to my period, this time the pain is the same but it started the same day my period started!

I really thought having children had helped as I’ve had a few cycles in between pregnancies and after my 2nd without any pain, but it’s def returned with avengance, and now I have 2 small children to look after whilst I’m in agony and taking strong painkillers. Just hoping I can keep out of hospital!

Not really sure in the point of this post except to have a little rant and maybe hear from others in a similar situation?

I feel your pain. My endo came back after I had my eldest and went away again when I was pregnant with my youngest son (although I had a lot of unexplained bleeding during pregnancy?!). He's now seven months and I'm struggling with pain daily and feeling exhausted ! I had a c section and don't know whether I've got new adhesions or something but I had a ultrasound which was clear. I'm hoping my gp refers me back to gynae so I can get some sort of treatment / pain relief! Here if you ever wants some one to rant to 😊

Ah ah I know right. What a joke!!! Same here, I had an OK endo before pregnancy and when I stopped BF, my periods started being more and more painful and longer with new symptoms every month! Now, I now I’ve got this massive nodule that has gone through my bladder and is causing me troubles! Am on the waiting list for lap so not sure yet where else I have it, but I’ve kind of given up on trying for baby2 coz it clearly ain’t working and am in hell when periods come on top of everyday pains! 💪💪💪🎗🎗🎗
