Symptoms?

Hi, I have joined to ask people what their symptoms of endometriosis are. I have researched online about it and i do have alot of the symptoms. One of the main ones is I get pain while passing stool whilst im on my period, and also in the middle of the month when im ovulating its quite painful as though im about to start menstruating but theres also a feeling of pressure in my lower abdomen. Im not sure if these symptoms are normal or not.

I had pain with bowel movements during menstration, sometimes to the point where I sometimes fainted. I was diagnosed with a large recto vaginal nodule of Endo and adhesions in a lap last Dec which anatomically distorted my bowel into a c bend and had it excised in July.

They do sound like some symptoms. I have a large nodule on my bowel and I get a lot of pain on going to the loo, i have blood in my stools when I’m on my period as well. Pain mid cycle is common but my endo pains used to start then and increase in intensity until the end of my period.

It’s worth having a chat with your gp as the early you get diagnosed the better.

I get awful pain too when I'm passing stool while on my period. Like one of the ladies who commented, almost to the point of fainting. I also get sharp pains in my rectum during my period, as well as pelvic pain. And excruciating pain after sex, some women get it during too.

Haven't officially been diagnosed with endo just yet but I'm waiting to get my lap done before the end of the year.
