Endo & bowel

Hey guys,

I’ve been told by a Gynae that I have endo, he did a physical and said he felt endo bits in the pouch of Douglas - no idea what that is. I’m waiting for a lap.

My problems are almost 90% related to bowel. I get pains - like a dull period like pain- basically everyday now. It gets REALLY bad around ovulation but generally when I need to poop. If my tummy is fuller because I haven’t been the pains are like contractions until I actually go. I can’t even think about trying to poop because any kind of tensing is agony. Literally just a waiting game.

Any one else like this? I don’t have problems with period bleeding - it’s literally just pain 24/7, period and ovulation it becomes a joke :(

I am exactly like you! But I also feel like I have a hot poker being rammed up my bum when it’s my period. Everyday I feel like I’m about to start my period. My period itself has become very light and the menstrual pain is nothing compared to what I’ve experienced in the past. My current symptoms are all bowel related. I also have an endometrioma on my right ovary which is sore. I’m waiting for surgery, been for an MRI scan today, it’ll be a few weeks until I get the results. I’m also receiving prostap injections every 4wks in the meantime to try and help dampen down the pain.

Does your bowel pain ever come on really bad while you’re out in public? I have to stand still until it passes, I cannot move!
