Close to op chatter

Hi girls

It’s been 17 days since my last pill, it’s 10 days till my op and I can’t wait. (Strange but true)

My body doesn’t have a clue what’s going on, keep thinking I’m going to bleed any minute. Bloated and tender. Have had soft poops during ovulation, and of course ‘The Pains’

Just feel quite confused and not in control at all.

Im expecting it to get worse in the run up to op.

I’ve got one day off before the op to get myself sorted. Bit concerned about getting back to work after, as I have 11 days straight, immediately after the 2 week break suggested. (I’m a chef 👩🏻‍🍳)

I don’t think I have a point to this post 🤔, just wanted to chat about things, get them off my mind.

Any one else want to make a chatty post ? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Hey, you're doing great so far so hang in there it's hard to come off the pill all of a sudden, your body's like 'what are you doing!!'

So I have my pre-op on the 10th November, how long after your pre op did they give you your operation date?

Thing is I'm on the pill so will have to stop taking it and waiting minimum 4 weeks anyway. Really hope it's soon!

This is my first lap yes.

I actually had a bit of trouble with my dates. I had my meeting with gyno, then didn’t receive a letter for pre op or op dates. After two weeks I called and i hadn’t even been added to the waiting list.

After many phone calls. I got my pre op date of 30th October and op date 15th November. They were able to tell me this over the phone as they knew it was their mistake. So that’s 2 weeks between.

I was told it is 18weeks from referral date. Which is when your doctor refers you to a gyno.

Mine is 18 weeks exactly. [this post has been edited to comply with our code of conduct]. NHS not private.

Hope that’s some help to you. The waiting made me so anxious, I just wanted a date to focus on.
