Should I go back ?

I was diagnosed with endo 4 years ago after failing to conceive our 2nd child, after years of trying they agreed to a laparoscopy where they found I was riddled with it, had some removed but was booked in for a 2nd op as it was attached to my bowel. Amazingly I fell pregnant immediately so never had the 2nd op. Slowly the pains have returned an the back pain I get during my cycle is horrendous is it possible that my endometriosis has returned again ?

It could well have returned as there is no permanent cure

I can relate to this, was diagnosed 2006 mines settled with pregnancy but the day my 3rd was born dec 2015 I have been in constant pain daily had my fourth lap last dec n found i had very extensive endo and adhesions They cldnt touch anything becos it was on the bowel and over uterine artery and blood vessels iv had mri scans I was put on waiting list to see an endo specialist Who wanted me to have a full pelvic clearance which I refused, Just had my pre op assessment now I’m just waiting on my op date, the back pain I get is awful n the leg pains and hip pains, I know they won’t cure but I’m just hoping for some relief from it even if it’s just few months. Hope you get answers soon xx

Hi. i would go back, I didn't know I had endometriosis and it turned out I had a full frozen pelvis to which was causing the back and hip pain, it felt like something was being drilled into the bone. Try to be seen by a specialist if you can and congratulations on getting your second baby. Xx

Hello Blakemummy. Endometriosis is one of those conditions where if a trace is left it will continue to grow. I’ve had 5 surgeries now and I’m expecting my 6th soon. Bare with it. Talk to them about forms of contraception (progesterone only) as this may help with your symptoms
