I went fur an early scan as couldn't wait 4 12 week scan was to impatient. If we go by my last period I'm 10 weeks pregnant, however I've been trying for a while so I kinda know when I conceived which makes me 7 weeks.
I attended a private scan and they can only see the sac?? I'm so worried now and having to wait to hear back from the hospital as what happens next. The scan showed a measurement of the gs sac 26.7mm in diameter so she said with it being this big then it's probably a missed miscaridge?
I have had no bleeding or stomach cramps nothing like that and still feel pregnant i.e. Being sick sore boobs and tiredness.
I've searched the bet to try and find out about the gs sac size and what they mean but not found much.
Your help would be much appreciated I'm just so worried now and thinking the worst ?? 🙏😕 xxxx

Hi there, I have had a missed miscarriage but didn't find out til my 12 week scan. By that time the sac was so huge. It seems that sometimes the sac can continue to grow, owing to hormones but not have a fetus inside. I waited three weeks to have a miscarriage but it didn't happen, my hormones stayed high. so I had to have a d&c.
However, if you think you are 7 weeks, then I would wait 10 days and ask to be rescanned by your early pregnancy unit at your hospital. It could potentially be that it's bit early still.
Either way, sorry you are experiencing this. I know only too well the disappointment. X
Gutted does not even cover how I'm feeling today. I'm going fir another scan by my hospital today so hopefully they will check my bloods etc.
I kinda know I've miscarried as today I don't have sore boobs etc.
A little piece of me is hoping fir the best but I'm prepared for the worst. I just want it to be over with so I can move on from it all but having to wait is agonising but part of the process I guess.
It's good to be realistic & prepare for worst as that way you can move on quicker and start retrying if and when you're ready. It's actually a very common thing. I Never realised til recently that my sister had the same thing 20 odd years ago but just kept quiet about it. She called it a blighted ovum and said she had 2 of them, before going on to have 3 kids.
All I can say is if you trust in God, then you're in safe hands. I did end up having a baby 2 years later, and he's my world. So, it can happen, xx
