finishing decapeptyl injections

Hi, Ive just had my last decapeptyl injection( 8 injections total) , with all those nasty side effects, does anyone knows how long it will take to return back to 'normal' ..? I feel so lethargic and out if it.

It took about 4months for me to have it out of my system. 8 injections! I think I had 6. What will you have for your treatment next? I finished because I had a surgery.

The doctor put the mirena coil in me in May and is hoping that will stop the excessive bleeding... did you have alot of side effects from the injections?

I felt quite tired and had no sex drive but I didn't have much else side effect. I have mirena in now and taking mini pills on top of it. What side effects do you have?

where do I start! major mood swings, hot flushes all the time, anxiety, brain fog, memory loss , head aches., weight gain. ive only just got this bad in the last 3 weeks!

Sending sympathies your way! I only had 2 Decapeptyl as I had my Op just after the 2nd, but I had 6 Zoladex injections a couple of years ago too!

I think it took about 3-4 weeks for the side effects to wear off like hot flushes etc.
