Later than normal. Negative tests.

Hello, I have been diagnosed with endo for almost a year now and since being diagnosed and offered help I noticed my periods were almost every 6-7 weeks. This time though my last period was Jan 15th which means it is almost 12 weeks late. This is not normal for me and so I have been doing so many home pregnancy tests and even went to the doctors who said wait a week and try again. I have tried every week to find out if I am but still no period or positive result. I am scared as I have a disabled daughter and am not sure if I would risk another baby being disabled (she has CF which means 1/4 chance of sibling having CF) I am not sure what to do. Please help.

Hi kelsie

Has your gp done a blood test to check for pregnancy if not i would go back and ask for one. This has happened to me before and the GP thought i was pregnant tested negative and 4 months later my cycles started again!

Hey Annie, I went back to my doctor but he said he doesn't want to do any bloods because he thought it was a waste of time! Either way it doesn't matter now because my cycle started a day ago. I think I need to have a talk with my gynaecologist about a laparoscopy as I was bed ridden all day yesterday and the day before with the pain. I need to get this sorted as it seems the later my period the more painful it is x
