Help please

I'm having an endoscopy tomorrow. It's done as an emergency so I haven't received a letter. She said on the phone to fast six hours before. Should I stop drinking to and can I take my medication as normal?

Could you take your medication after? I know my mum who had endoscopy thing done two weeks back she took all her medication afterwards and she didn't drink until afterwards as well.

I don't know how long it's gonna take Yano what waiting in hospitals is like. Think I'll just take my morning ones with a sip of water then no more drinks 🤔

Yeah best to sip little amounts. Good luck with it!! My mum had a terrible experience with it all.

I hope you get on okay. They should have told you not to eat or drink beforehand. It's not a pleasant experience but it's over before you know it. I got mine done with just the throat spray so I could go home afterwards. Good luck!

She told me not to eat but didn't mention drink and I didn't even think to ask. Luckily I didn't drink else I'd have been put to the bottom of the list. I'm still on the ward had to have sedation as it just made me gag. Isn't a nice experience at all but like you said luckily doesn't take long
