Self catheterising

Hi anyone had to self catheterise and struggle - I don't know what to do I just can't do it 😩😩😩😩

yes I self cathaterise when I need to other times I just strain it out, I still find it very difficult. I put one foot on the toilet and use a mirror to put the cathater slightly in then remove mirror and continue to push it in enough to drain. I totally understand where your coming from I used to panic so much I'd get it stuck and it wouldn't come out or I'd pull it out and it'd have blood on it so I'd panic using it again. I'm due to go back for further lessons x
